Developed by Loyola Press and inspired by Mark Thibodeaux, SJ's acclaimed book "Reimagining the Ignatian Examen," this app offers flexible and adaptable versions of the Examen prayer. What is the Examen?

The Examen was created by St. Ignatius of Loyola as a brief prayer that can be recited at any time. It serves as a means to reflect on our recent past, seeking to identify God's presence and blessings in our daily lives. According to Ignatius, the Examen should be regarded as the most significant moment of our day, as it has the potential to shape all subsequent moments.

How Do I Pray the Examen?

This app provides guidance in performing the Examen through five straightforward steps:

 <li>Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you in reviewing your day.</li>
 <li>Reflect on the events and encounters of your day.</li>

 <li>Resolve, in tangible ways, to live tomorrow with greater purpose and integrity.</li>
